How To Change Time Of Day
Certain events and side cases require Lost Judgment players to wait for a specific time of day. Here’s how to change them.
Lost Judgment Sometimes players have to wait for a certain time of day to trigger an event or continue a side case. This guide will explain how to change the time of day as needed. Unfortunately, these special feature fees require players to participate in the premium adventure, which only unlocks after completing the main story.
Lost Judgment is an action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. The game follows Detective Takayuki Yagami as he investigates a criminal who is currently involved in a sexual molestation case and an ongoing murder investigation. Along the way, he explores both Kamurocho and Yokohama, taking on side cases and participating in several additional activities ranging from batting cages to a VR salon.
Changing the time of day
Unfortunately, players must enter the post-game/premium adventure from Lost Judgment before the time of day can be changed freely, so that players easily Adjust time of day as required for side cases. Until then, players can only change the time of day by continuing the main story until the time of day changes as part of the story, otherwise the game will remain at the same time of day indefinitely.
Unlike some other open world games Lost Judgment does not have a day/night cycle that changes automatically over time, it just changes the time of day as appropriate for the current story beat. This, along with the inability to adjust the time of day until the main story is completed, makes some side cases difficult to complete during the playthrough, as they often have requirements that can only be completed at a specific time of day. Because of this, it’s sometimes worth deferring certain side cases until the story is complete, or at least until the time of day in the main stories matches the time of day needed to continue the side case.
As for the actual time of day change in the aftermath, This is accomplished by sleeping on the couch in either of the two offices available to Yagami. These are located in Yagami’s detective agency in Kamurocho and in Yokohama 99’s office in Yokohama. Since there is an office in both areas, it is possible to change the time of day in each of the main explorable areas of the game.
