How to change your outfit and look
Once you’re in-game and through the intro, you’ll gain access to a house of your own. This also allows you Access your wardrobe from your backpack.
To change your appearance, open your backpack by pressing the “Inventory” button. Here you will see different options: inventory, wardrobe and furniture. Choose the wardrobe menu as that is what you are looking for.
In your wardrobe you can choose the outfit you want to wear while playing the game. There are seventeen categories of clothing to choose from. And if there’s something you’re not happy with about your character’s appearance, you can scroll down to the second tab of your wardrobe and change at will.
How to design clothes
One of the best features of Disney Dreamlight Valley is the ability to design your own clothes. This way you can really wear whatever you like and have fun creating new clothing options.
To create your own designs, go to your closet. On the Categories tab, select Customize. Then press “Add new”.which will take you to a screen where you must decide what type of garment you want to design.
It is possible to add up to 50 layers to a design. You can add stamps related to nature, food, flowers, and magic, or you can add shapes, symbols, objects, animals, and even your favorite characters. You can then place, rotate, and resize the element. Even if you save a theme, You can always edit or delete it later.
Playing around with the customization tool is the best way to get the hang of it before attempting to create a serious design to wear in-game.
