Bytes Quests have finally arrived in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 so here we have details on all the challenges and how to complete them.
Aside from the usual weekly challenges and the story-related Paradise Quests, the current Fortnite season also features a hidden set of challenges known as Bytes Quests.
These challenges were released after the v22.10 update went live, and completing them will unlock up to seven new alternate styles for The Nothing’s Gift pickaxe, found on Page 2 of the Battle Pass.

How to unlock the Bytes quests in Fortnite
You can get access to the Bytes Quests by Unlocking The Nothing’s Gift pickaxe. You can find these cosmetics on Page 2 of the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass.
Once you’ve unlocked this pickaxe, you’ll automatically gain access to the Bytes quests, which can be viewed at any time on the Quests page.
All Bytes quests in Fortnite
Here are all of the Bytes quests currently available in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4:
- Turn on the TV while wearing the Bytes outfit (1)
- Damage opponents with EvoChrome weapons (2500)
- Driving distance in chromed vehicles
- Walk through chromed structures in various named locations
- Search chrome chests
- Deal damage to Chromed Wildlife
- Eliminate opponents in a chrome named location
- Chrome opponent
Completing each of these quests will reward you with a new alternate style for The Nothing’s Gift pickaxe.
How to complete the Bytes quests in Fortnite
The most important thing to remember about the Bytes Quests is that you must wear the Bytes skin to complete the first challenge. It doesn’t look like you’ll need to wear it for the rest of the quests, but it might still be worth carrying just in case.
Damage to enemies with EvoChrome weapons requires either the EvoChrome Shotgun or the EvoChrome Burst Rifle. The best way to get these is by searching Chrome Chests in Chrome covered locations like the Shiny Lagoon or Shimmering Shrine.
When it comes to driving in chrome vehicles, dealing damage to chrome wildlife, driving through chrome structures, or chrome enemies in the game, you can simply throw a chrome splatter at your target to complete these challenges.
