How to link your Discord and Xbox accounts

Before you begin, you need to download the Discord and Xbox apps from the Play Store. You can complete this process on a desktop computer, but we recommend the mobile app. This way you don’t have to turn on your computer if you want to use Discord voice chat on your Xbox.

After downloading both apps, sign in to each one before beginning setup. Signing up beforehand will make connecting your accounts much faster.

7. Beat Continue to sign in to your Xbox account.
   1. You’ll be prompted for your Microsoft username and password if you haven’t signed in to the Xbox app. Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the next step.
8. Beat Authorize and continue to complete the setup.

Method 2: How to connect to your Discord account from Xbox app

1. Open the Xbox app.
2. Tap yours profile icon bottom right of your screen.
3. Beat Continue at the bottom of the screen; This will take you to the Discord app.
   1. You’ll be prompted for your Microsoft username and password if you haven’t signed in to the Discord app. If yes, you will be taken to the next step.
4. Beat Authorize keep going.

How to Use Discord Voice Chat on Xbox

Once you have connected your accounts, you can now use Discord voice chat on Xbox. Once again, this process only works if you have the Xbox app installed and signed into it.

1. Open the Discord app.
2. Tap the voice chat channel you want to connect to.
3. Beat Try voice chat on console! at the bottom of the screen.
4. Beat Join on Xbox.
   1. Don’t type Join Voice.
5. Your Xbox app will now open; beat transmit language to complete the process.
