5. In the Desygner editor you will see that every element of the PDF invoice can be edited – text, fonts, images, colors and even layers.

9. Save it as pdf and click Download to get it on your PC.

How to correct errors in a PDF invoice using Microsoft Word

Even if you don’t have a PDF editor, you can edit PDF invoices with Microsoft Word. However, remember that this method works best with text-based calculations. Files with too many pictures or graphics may not display correctly in Word. How to proceed with text-based PDF invoices:

1. Open Microsoft Word on your PC
2. Click on Open, Locate the PDF invoice and open it in Word.

3. You will receive a message that Word is now converting your PDF into an editable document. Click on OK to open the file.

4. Your invoice will open in Word and you will see that you can easily edit the text.

5. So make your changes and then click file and then Save asand save the file as a PDF.

How to correct mistakes in a PDF invoice on your phone for free

You can also edit your bill on the go on your phone. For example, you can download Desygner Android or iOS app or other apps to edit your PDF invoices. But only until the free trial period.

If you want to edit your PDF for free, you need to have a few apps handy. Let’s see how.

1. Download WPS Office app and PDF to Word Converter app on your phone.
2. Open the PDF to Word Converter app. click Select PDF to select the PDF invoice to convert. The app will rename your file to a combination of random letters and numbers.
   

   Some of these free apps have a few ads between steps. Just ignore and close.

3. click Convert. The file will then be converted and displayed as a .docx file at the top of the page that opens.
4. Now click on the file or on the three-dot menu next to it to open it. If you already have WPS Office installed, it will likely appear as an option to open the file. So click on WPS Office to open the file in the app.
5. Alternatively, you can open the WPS Office app. Click on files below and then further This Device > Download. That PDF2Word converter folder will be in there Download. Open it to access your converted invoice. Then click yours .docx invoice, which opens in WPS Office.
6. Click on that To edit Button at top left to change billing details such as descriptions, addresses and amounts.
7. When you’re done, click the Save on computer icon and then next Finished.
8. Now click Tool bottom left and select Save as. On the Save screen, choose where you want to save the file, e.g. B. on your phone.
9. On the next page, click on the bottom right down arrow which to choose .pdf Possibility.
10. This is also the right time to rename your file – from a mix of numbers and letters – to anything you like.
11. Finally click on the Export as PDF Button. You can view the saved file and then exit the app.
12. Then open my files on your phone and click documents. Your edited PDF invoice would likely be at the top of the list. Just select them and send them like any other file via WhatsApp, Gmail, Bluetooth or other options.
