How to Gameshare on Nintendo Switch

  1. Select on the second Nintendo Switch system settings.
  2. Scroll down to user. Then select Add User.
  3. Choose Create new user.
  4. Choose your profile symbol and nicknameand then select OK.
  5. Choose Link a Nintendo Account.
  6. Enter the credentials of the account that contains the games to be shared.
  7. Choose shortcut.
  8. Choose OK.

You have now added your account to the second Switch console, where it should automatically become the primary console for your user account. You also don’t have to log into your account again, so you can skip the Nintendo Switch user selection screen in the future and just log into yours directly.

This means that the owner of the second Switch can play the games on your account even if they are logged into their own account. You’ll have to re-download your game library on your Switch, but the second Switch owner can now play the games you own without having to buy them again.

What to consider when sharing games on Nintendo Switch
