Did you know you can set up notifications for Amazon’s upcoming Prime-exclusive event? A quick reminder from the Amazon Shopping app can ensure you save big on some of the hottest items.


Amazon is rolling out a new shopping event for its Prime users between October 11th and 12th, dubbed the Prime Early Access Sale. It’s a 48-hour opportunity to save up to 80% on some of the biggest brands.

Finding the Prime Early Access Sale page in the Amazon Shopping app isn’t as intuitive as you think. Upon opening the app, a splash screen should appear notifying you of the event. However, you may not see any icons or options directing you there.

Don’t worry because there is an easy way to solve this. Just tap the search bar and type prime day sale. At the top of the results, you should see a shopping cart and text mentioning the sale. Tap on the shopping cart to access the main event page.

How to enable Prime Deal Alert notifications

If you want to turn on notifications about Prime-exclusive offers, you should follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Amazon Shopping app and tap three lines icon at bottom right.
  2. Now tap Settings > Notifications.
  3. Here, tap the switch below Your watched and waitlisted deals.

From now on, you should receive an alert for each item you’ve created an alert for.

How to create Amazon Deal Alerts

You must create a deal notification to receive notifications on your phone. So, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Open Amazon Shopping and tap home icon below.
  2. Beat Create deal notifications is below the banner. If you can’t find it, look for “Prime Day Sale” and tap on it Create deal notifications there.
  3. You should see them Your deal notifications Section followed by lists of items with Create alert next to them.

Now you are done. It’s worth noting that all items eligible for notifications from your recent Amazon searches and recently viewed items appear in Receive deal notifications Section.
