How to get the Music Box relic in Dredge

The Jukebox is one of the relics that the Collector will ask you to find Dredge.

If you want to find the Music Box in Dredge, however, you must first complete the Hermitage Chase by finding the family crest, unlocking the packaged explosives in the process.

After that you can Get the Jukebox Relic in Dredge – I’m sure the collector needs it for perfectly normal reasons and it has nothing to do with dark magic at all…

How to get the Music Box relic in Dredge

If you want to recover the Jukebox relic from the sea floor in Dredge, you need to visit Gale Cliffs, located in the southeast corner of the map.

The location of the jukebox.

The easiest way to get to the Gale Cliffs from Greater Marrow is to head towards Blackstone Isle and once past it head south east. How long this journey takes depends on the speed of your engines, but if you leave early in the morning you should be at Gale Cliffs before dark.

The Jukebox is hidden in a shipwreck just south of the town of Ingfell in Gale Cliffs. However, when you reach this wreck you will find that it is blocked by a series of rocks. At the moment you lack the means to destroy these rocks, so moor at the small harbor in front of them instead.

The Jukebox can be found by digging the shipwreck lying behind these rocks. You just have to get there…

There you will find a hermit and when you talk to him you will ask “This place does not seem safe. Why do you live here?’ He will explain that he cannot return to Ingfell without his family crest, so you must agree to find it for him.

That means it’s time to put the Jukebox relic out of your mind for now and focus on finding the family crest and unlocking packaged explosives.

After unlocking the packaged explosives you can finally blast that pesky rock face and dredge the music box from the wreck. The music box occupies six squares arranged in a rectangle, so make sure you have enough space in your cargo.

Once the Music Box is safely aboard, it’s time to return to Blackstone Isle and deliver it to the Collector. (Who still won’t tell you what the relics are for, but I’m sure it will be ok…)

At the time of writing, we don’t know if the abilities the Collector gives you are tied to a specific relic or the number of relics you gave him. This means that while you’re giving him the Music Box that unlocked the Manifest ability for us, you might find that you get another ability.

In any case, the Manifest ability is very useful because it allows you to return to the Blackstone Isle immediately. This is great when you either need to find a relic or need to quickly dock at a port so you can rest and reduce your panic level. Remember – it has a cooldown!

Good luck finding the Music Box!
