How to Increase Inventory Space in Diablo IV

As a hack-and-slash action RPG, the loot system is one of the standout gameplay elements of Diablo IV. Hordes of enemies will drop truckloads of loot throughout your playtime, all with different colors denoting different rarities, which will have different effects on your characters’ skills and playstyle. Since a bajillion loot will fall on your screen, it’s impossible to store them all in your inventory. But at least there is a way to increase your inventory space Diablo IV and not allow some of that equipment to go to waste?
Diablo IV – Can you increase the inventory?
Unfortunately similar to others Diablo games, there are no way to increase your player inventory Diablo IV. I know, being a handy kleptomaniac myself, it hurts me to also have to leave dropped loot all over the dungeon floors. I had to resort to mods Diablo II just to satisfy my guilty pleasure of being a hoarder. However, you cannot increase your inventory Diablo IVyou can add more space to the external stash, which we will discuss later.

The best way to save inventory space
Of course, the best way to save some space and manage inventory properly is to just leave the gear where it isn’t particularly good. But if they slipped into your inventory unnoticed, you should go to the blacksmith. Go there and dismantle them into scrap or valuable crafting material. Aside from that, you can also sell them for some gold that you desperately need if you like loot and/or scrap collecting like me.
Diablo IV – What is an external stash and how is it updated?
As mentioned above, just like before Diablo title, there is an external stash that can be found in hub towns throughout the game in Scosglen, Dry Steppes, Kehjista, Fractured Peaks, and Haweza. It’s denoted on the mini-map by a small chest icon, and you can keep your other, less essential, valuables there for safekeeping and pick them up later. But just like your character’s inventory, the stash will fill up at some point in the game as it only has one tab.
Luckily, you can add more space to the stash. The bad news is that it will cost you 100,000 gold for each tab. Yes, it’s one of the more expensive things that you can only unlock with gold, especially in the early game. I suggest you save money often and don’t die too often so you don’t waste too much money. At least in the alpha build there should be a gold penalty on death; it is no longer valid in beta testing and may not even exist in the launch release.
