through my experience iPhones are incredibly strong. I’m far from being a cautious person or someone who neglects their devices, so I’m impressed I didn’t break my iPhone after a year of heavy use.

But today is the day I’m stepping up to a new iPhone, and while I think Apple has done an excellent job of building a rugged smartphone that’s perfect for daily knocks and bumps, I still want to back my investment with one protect the screen protector and a case.

And as far as I’m concerned, there’s no better way to do that than right from day one.

In fact, from the moment it comes out of the box.

There are two products I turn to again to protect my iPhone:

I like a lot about the Spigen Glastr EZ Fit tempered glass screen protectors.

High on my list of things I love about these screen protectors is that they are easy to apply thanks to the frame system that keeps the protector in place and makes application a breeze.

Just make sure you line up the frame properly with the iPhone before application.

Installation takes minutes – the longest part of it will be cleaning the screen if you’ve been using the iPhone.

  • Drop the frame over the iPhone.
  • Press the protector firmly.
  • Remove the frame.
  • Push the air bubbles to the edge.

I find that applications run so much faster and better when you haven’t touched your iPhone’s display and are getting fingerprints all over it. Yes, they clean, but it’s easier this way.

The more I use the iPhone without a screen protector, the more likely it is that the screen will get scratched.

These screen protectors work well. I’ve been using them for a while now and they’ve done a fantastic job of keeping my display looking new.

I like them a lot too Quad-lock fastening system for my iPhone. I have a mount in the car and on my e-bike and think it’s excellent. The mounting system is reliable and has never let me down.

I was initially concerned that the case might not be sturdy enough to take the beating, but the test of time – and many falls – has proved me wrong. The case provides excellent protection for the iPhone and its raised lip protects the display and cameras.

The new mag cases also mean I don’t have to sacrifice the convenience of using MagSafe accessories.

A really great case for an amazingly versatile mounting system.
