Most of the quests and tasks in Disney’s dream light valley are fairly simple and straightforward, with characters like Goofy often telling you exactly what to do or how to do it. But there are some exceptions, and they happen to include raw vegetables and ratatouille. Instead of fighting like me, I just want to tell you how to make these two simple dishes.

Released yesterday for Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC, dream light valley is surprisingly fun mixture of Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and Disney characters. And like these life sims, players can meet up with different characters, give them gifts and help them with certain tasks. Two specific character quests that might give you trouble involve the legendary Mickey Mouse and my personal favourite, Remy the rat from the wonderful Pixar film. Ratatouille.

How to make Crude Oil

First, let’s tackle Mickey’s quest line, which has you making him some fish sandwiches and raw food. Mickey the shy old mouse won’t give you the recipe for these two dishes, so you’ll have to find out for yourself. The fish sammies aren’t too difficult to solve as you simply need to prepare some wheat and fish. You can buy wheat from Goofy’s stand or grow it yourself, and you can just fish for the fauna. But the blanks amazed me and many others.

Thing is, we’ve all just been thinking about it too much. to put in raw materials dream light valley Just stick a single carrot in the pot and cook it. That’s it. I know!

How to Make Ratatouille (The Dish, Not the Movie)

Next is another recipe-based search that has baffled me and others online for a while. When you visit Remy and his kitchen he will ask you to do some basic things for some reason e.g. B. washing dishes with your watering can. He also gives you some recipes to make.

But finally, your task is to prepare the famous ratatouille dish. However, the rat cook gives only vague instructions: “Tomatoes, three different cooked vegetables, and a spice.” Unlike the other meals you cook in this questline, you must use specific ingredients or you’ll cook the wrong dish. You might be tricked into thinking that you need to cook veggies first and then somehow incorporate them into your meal, but no.

Here’s what you need to prepare this famous dish:

  • tomato
  • aubergine
  • zucchini
  • Onion
  • Any herb (like oregano or basil)

For me, it was Remy saying “tomatoes” that put me off as I assumed I would have to include at least two. But no. Just follow the recipe above and you’re good to go. And also fight the urge to call Remy a rat bastard, and console yourself with the idea that after your long cooking-related suffering, the critic might have a fond memory of his childhood.
