Pick a comfy one, but one that doesn’t boost your bust size. Measure the crotch length by placing the end of the measuring tape at your waist in front, then drawing the tape measure through your legs.

How to measure your bust for a shirt. Take the measuring tape and position it directly under your bust right where the breast tissue ends. Measure under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and over the fullest part of your bust. Measure circumference around body over the fullest part of the bust.
Measure from the back of your neck. For any other reasons, measure around your neck at the base to determine your neck width. So if your bust is 33 1/2 inches, round up to 34 inches.
Double that number (one measurement for the front, the other for the back). Bend your elbow and put your hand on your hip, and have someone measure from the middle of the back of your neck, around your shoulder and elbow to the wrist bone. Then, find where your waist would be on the shirt, then measure across it, from the left side seam to the right side seam.
Your waistline is the narrowest/slimmest part of torso (see illustration above). Measure from your waist down to the surface. Measure from one side to another.
Put your finger on the tape at your natural waist in back, and that's your crotch length. Your helper should then measure up and over the curve of your shoulders, across your back, then back down to the outside edge of the other shoulder point. The correct measurement in the example photos is 19.25.
Your bust measurements will be higher than you chest measurements. Then, take your measuring tape and measure around the largest part of your hips, which may include your buttocks. For crotch depth, sit down on a flat surface.
