In addition to five signature moves, FIFA 23 introduces six brand new celebrations, including the ever-popular Griddy. Here’s how to make them all.
In addition to new signature celebrations for Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Roberto Firminho, Christian Pulisic and Sam Kerr, FIFA 23 introduces six brand new goal celebrations. The most popular of these is undoubtedly the griddy, which actually hails from American football, although that’s not to say some of the other newcomers in FIFA 23 are also not worth seeing.
As with most other goal celebrations in FIFA 23, all new players involve holding down one of the shoulder buttons after scoring, then either flicking, holding, or twisting the right analog stick in a specific direction. How to do the Griddy Celebration in FIFA 23
Also known as Eyes and Arms in the game menu, players can perform the Griddy Celebration by holding R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox) and then moving the right analog stick up twice.
How to do the Gamer Celebration in FIFA 23
To perform Diogo Jota’s Gamer Celebration, players must hold R1 (PlayStation) or RB (Xbox) and then move the right analog stick right then left.
How to perform the Eye of the Storm Celebration in FIFA 23
To celebrate the Eye of the Storm celebration, players must hold R1 (PlayStation) or RB (Xbox) and then rotate the right analog stick counter-clockwise in a full circle.

Conor McGregor’s Boneless Walk is the latest new celebration in FIFA 23, although for some reason it was renamed Arm Swing. To perform the arm swing celebration, players must hold L1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox) and then move the right analog stick right then left.
