October 7th marks the release of three brand new test decks for CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD will+Dress worldwide. In celebration of the drop, here are a few reasons why you should start your cardfight!! Avant-garde journey.

If you have never played a bushiroad card game you will be surprised. card fight!! Vanguard takes a unique approach by incorporating mechanics like trigger and damage checking, shield, and interception. These affect deck construction and affect real-time decision making in games. However, there is a learning curve with every new game, so let’s break down how to get started today!

Players choose from a variety of Trial Decks / Start Decks based on different nations, spanning a plethora of playstyles. Whether your strategy is a hyper-aggressive attack, a control approach that manipulates your opponents’ boards, or building a stacked target board, you have the ability to play the game your own way. Don’t know where to start? Don’t fret. The Trial Deck / Start Decks are ready to play.

After you get a basic understanding of what makes a balanced decklist, it’s a paint-by-numbers approach to adding and removing cards as you see fit. If you want to get started, you can check out one of the different starting decks available, e.g. B. Start Deck 06: Mirei Minae, available at most local game stores for $7.00. Starting decks were introduced with the launch of CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD overDress and helped players build wallet-friendly decks like never before.

Mirei Minae (as seen above) is playing a Dragon Empire deck, and her ace unit, Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra, is capable of using Deity Arms weapons in the form of command cards to reach their greatest potential! Command Cards have various powerful effects that can be used once per turn to give your Vanguard a variety of powerful effects. This is just one of many playstyles to choose from and explore. The foundation of every deck and playstyle is well supported each year – balancing the global game meta and keeping player decklists functional for much longer than other games.

Now that you understand the basics better, let’s get started on the new cardfight!! Vanguard Trial Decks will be released worldwide on October 7th. The three featured ace units are represented by the characters Urara Haneyama, Michiru Hazama and Raika Koshiba from the CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Will+Dress series. These trial decks include tutorial cards with rule explanations, making them useful for new players. Look out for the Elementaria Sanctitude bonus PR card, a new type of Sentinel unit (Perfect Guard) that players can use for free if their opponent’s Vanguard has Triple Drive! If you’re having trouble deciding on one of the three decks, here’s a quick rundown of what to do:

Urara Haneyama’s ace unit is “Bandmaster of Blossoming Bonds, Lianorn”, which peaks when boosted by three or more units in the back row, a special trait unique to this deck as it is a boost unit usually only reinforces the unit directly in front of it.

Next we have Michiru Hazama and his top unit, Jewel-emmbracing Dragon Fang, Drajeweled! A fearsome Abyss Dragon capable of manipulating his own and his opponent’s Vanguard!

Last but not least, we have Raika Koshiba and his ace unit Youthberk Protofall Arms! The mysterious warrior clad in dark armor is capable of performing RevolDress, a special ability that allows players to transform this unit into its berserker form “RevolForm: Zest” after it attacks!
