Hanzo’s team role

hanzos role in Overwatch 2 Damage. This means that his main task in the team is to deal as much damage as possible to the enemies. He doesn’t necessarily need to get the most kills, but should get plenty of assists when fending off enemies from afar so your team can take them down. Even when boarding high damage This role allows you to push enemies back, forcing them to heal or disengage from a fight, causing you to lose momentum. This helps your team advance objectives and remove enemies from them. With the Damage reel, Hanzo has one too passive ability what he is allowed to get Increased reload speed and movement speed when killed.

Hanzo’s weapon and abilities

Hanzo has a weapon called The storm bow. The longer you hold down the shoot button, the stronger the arrow gets and the further it flies. It is a Single shot bow and is usually best used remotely. You can shoot it quickly from close range, but the shots don’t fully charge and therefore don’t do as much damage.

Hanzo’s first ability is called storm arrowswho shoots them next five arrows in rapid firethey are shot at reduced damage but landing all the shots is enough to kill. This is an ability best used at close range when you’re being rushed by an enemy or need to get close to help the team. You can use it to deal damage from a distance and still be effective enough to take down low-health enemies.

Another ability is the sonic arrowthe A single arrow on which there is a radar. It lights up enemies red and reveals their positions to the whole team. This arrow is great to use when enemies are piling up in a room or around a corner so your team can see exactly where the enemies are as they rush in.

The last ability is lungea double jump that pushes you forward or up when you’re against a wall. It is activated by pressing jump again while in the air. It’s great for helping traverse the map. It allows you to get to higher places to snipe from a distance and is perfect with Hanzo’s other passive, called wall climbing. This passive ability allows you to jump up and scale walls. So, combined with the double jump, you can climb really high for the best vantage points. Positioning is crucial in the damage role, as you want to make sure you’re putting constant pressure on the enemy team while staying far from damaging yourself.

Hanzo has one too Ultimate ability called Dragonstrike. This starts one dragon spirit in front of him dealing damage to all enemies he walks through, if the enemy stays in the spirit he can kill him. The great thing about this ultimate is that it moves all over the map from where you fired it. Dragon strike can be used through walls because ghosts can walk through walls, right? Combine this with your Sonic Arrow to take out enemies hiding behind cover or to prevent where the enemies will be and it will traverse buildings and hit anyone inside. Just keep in mind when summoning the Dragon Strike from afar that it can be easily seen and therefore easily dodged. Shooting it through a wall at close range and catching the enemy unsuspectingly will do the most damage.

This ability is best not fired outdoors near enemies as it takes a few seconds to summon and can kill you in the process. Since it goes through walls, it’s best to fire it around a corner out of sight.

How to play as Hanzo

When it comes to playing as Hanzo, sit back and take out enemies behind your teammates. Hanzo isn’t really a character you can go head-to-head with, unless you need to take down weakened and distracted enemies. However, you have the Storm Arrows that can help you in a melee Normal arrows, even if fired quickly, have problems to outperform other heroes in the game.

Hanzo is a great hero you can pair up with most other heroes in your team because of its reach. The only thing you want to think about is not having too many long range damage heroes on the team, because otherwise no one gets on the nerves of the other team and prevents them from progressing. So if you’re already seeing widowmaker and ann in your team, maybe select tracers so you can immerse yourself in the action.

You’ll want to use them lunge ability and the passive climbing ability to help you get high and start pushing enemies back out of range. With Hanzo’s long-range ability, you’ll be of great help to your team, either weakening enemies enough for your teammates to take out, or pushing them back as mentioned above. If you use Hanzo, you have to try it aim for headshotsespecially if you have the bow pulled all the way back as this deals maximum damage and can even earn you a one hit kill.
