street fighter 6 gets to practice early as Capcom is offering a closed beta test for gamers around the world from October 7th to 10th.

This is the first opportunity for players to experience SF6 from the comfort of their own home and features more than seven modes and eight characters including Luke, Ryu and the newly returning Ken Masters. A few extra bonuses like full character creation and an exclusive title given to participating players are also included.

Which platforms will the street fighter 6 Closed beta test available?

This iteration of the closed beta test will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam. Crossplay will be enabled so you don’t have to worry about finding the right platform with friends as you can play with anyone as long as they have access to the beta.

The only exclusion from this list is the PS4. This is probably due to technical limitations on the test, since SF6 is still scheduled to be released on the previous generation console at launch in 2023.

Registration for the street fighter 6 closed beta test

Similar to Capcom’s other beta tests, players will need to register for a Capcom ID and ensure their account is linked to their platform of choice when accessing the SF6 closed beta test.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and have access to one of the platforms where the game can be played. If you plan to play on PlayStation or Xbox, you’ll also need an active PS Plus or Xbox Live subscription to access this test.

Your application will be canceled immediately if you delete your CAPCOM ID account after applying for the test and a platform account such as PSN or Xbox Live linked to a CAPCOM ID cannot be modified later. The platform you play on when applying cannot be changed later, and if you unlink a platform from your Capcom ID after requesting access, you will also lose access to the test.

So before requesting access, make sure you have a CAPCOM ID, successfully linked your preferred platform, correctly selected your region and filled out all other relevant information. You can read the full requirements and request access directly from the officer SF6 Website.
