  1. Open the Shazam app on your phone.
  2. Swipe up on your iPhone to view your history. On Android, tap library in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Now tap Shazams.
  4. Find the song you want to broadcast. If you want to share more than one song, tap Choose in the upper-right corner of the screen, and then enable that circles next to each song.
  5. Tap the Three point menu On the right side.
  6. Choose Split.
  7. Now select a current contact or platform where you want to share the song.

Shazam supports any of the best free chat apps for messaging friends and family. You can share your new favorite songs via WhatsApp, email and even text messages.

Not only can you share Shazams with your friends and family, but you can also share them with your social media followers to let them know what you’re liking. This is how to do it:

  1. Open Shazam
  2. Swipe up on your iPhone to view your history. On Android, tap library in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Beat Shazams.
  4. Find the song you want to send, or select multiple songs as above.
  5. Tap the Three point menu right and tap Split.
  6. Select the social media platform where you want to share the song.

You can also quickly share a song you recently discovered. All you have to do is find the song in the Current Shazams Story. Tap the Three point menu on the tile, then choose Split.
