How to stream Warriors vs. Timberwolves

The Golden State Warriors play the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday night. The game will be played at 4:30 p.m. PT in San Francisco and can be followed on ESPN and NBC Sports Bay Area.

This will be the second game of a five-game home streak for Golden State. Their first game was a big bounce back win on Friday night as they defeated the Houston Rockets 116-101. Minnesota, on the other hand, had a shaky start to the second half of the season after losing 121-113 to the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. The Warriors and Timberwolves have each won a game against each other this season, with their most recent matchup ending in a 119-114 loss to Dubs in overtime.

Golden State pulled off one of its better shooting performances of the season Friday night, led by shooting guard Klay Thompson, who posted a season-high with 12 threes for 42 points. It was the ninth time in Thompson’s career that he’d hit double-digit threes in a single game, trailing behind teammate and Splash brother Stephen Curry for most of the time in NBA history.

Tonight, the Warriors will be looking to continue their momentum from the previous game but will once again have to do so short-handed as it was reported on Saturday that Andrew Wiggins will continue to miss time due to personal reasons.

His absence will be felt during this game when Golden State meets a Minnesota team that boasts one of the league’s better all-around perimeter players in All-Star forward Anthony Edwards. On offense, Edwards is the Timberwolves’ leading scorer at 25.0 points per game, while defensively he leads the team with 1.6 points in steals per game — ninth in the NBA before the All-Star Break last week.

With the Warriors beating their best offensive player in Curry, their best attack point defenders in Wiggins and Gary Payton II and possibly without their best rim protection and overall defender in Draymond Green (listed as questionable), they are slowing Edwards and the rest of the roster of Timberwolves has to be a total team effort. If the Warriors are to win this one, they need to make it big again in this crucial Western Conference standings match.

It’s supposed to be a fun game. Enjoy the Basketball Dub Nation. GO WARRIOR!!!
