As King Deshret falls into despair, the previous Dendro Archon comes in Genshin Impact decides to break away from the Scarlet King and build their own civilization on another side of Sumeru. This place that is now known as the present Genshin Impact Sumeru is prosperous and teeming with lush jungle and life. Meanwhile, the desert is barren, hot, and lifeless. The jealousy of the desert people combined with the way Akademiya uses the desert as a place of exile leads to deep resentment towards the subjects of the Dendro Archon.
Many of the desert dwellers remain staunch believers of the Scarlet King. They believe that one day he will rise and war can be waged against the Dendro-Archon. The desert folk, longing for a better life, can’t help but take that hatred with them wherever they go. They venture deep into domains and ruins to find a glimmer of hope that the Scarlet King may one day return, where many of them have lost their way and get stuck on their journey. There are many places where the hermits were lost and the altar of mirages in it Genshin Impact Is one of them.
How to unlock the Altar of Mirages in Genshin Impact
How to unlock domain Altar of Mirages in Genshin Impact, Players must first progress through the Golden Slumber questline before receiving their first clearance even.
After that, use the underground teleport waypoint east of King Deshret’s mausoleum.
After teleporting, continue into the large chamber where players had to solve the riddle of the Primordial Torches.
Turn right here and enter the open passageway.
Now the players have to go to the other side of the room. There is a four leaf seal that can speed up the process.
Use the mechanism to open the gate, then jump down through the open floor. This takes players to the Altar of Mirages domain in Genshin Impactand from then on people can use the building as a teleport waypoint.
Completing the one-time domain grants players the following things:

- Adventure EXP x500
- Dendro Seal x5
- Artifact “Gilded Dreams” (4 stars) x1
- Practice Guide x2
- Hero Spirit x2
- Mystic Enhancement Ore x4
- Mora x30,000
A precious chest will also appear upon completion, additionally rewarding:
- Prime Gem x10
- Adventure EXP x30
- Dendro Seal x3
Unlike many domains in Genshin Impact, the Altar of Mirage does not contain a puzzle, so it is a direct combat challenge. Travelers must defeat a total of 18 hermits, including new enemies only available from Genshin Impact 3.1. Here is a full list of enemies:
