Introduction to MEXC

Welcome to our guide to the MEXC exchange!

Sometimes referred to as the Binance Killer, MEXC is better viewed as another great cryptocurrency exchange to sign up for, depending on where you are in the world.

In particular, MEXC has received some important licenses in areas notorious for not allowing cryptocurrency exchanges to operate. These areas include the United States and Canada. Important to note: MEXC does not require KYC for residents of the United States.

In addition, the exchange offers an excellent range of cryptocurrencies, as well as a variety of trading options such as buying and selling and derivative products. In addition, MEXC offers one of the lowest trading fees of any exchange out there.

With all of that in mind, let’s dive into everything you need to know about the MEXC crypto exchange, including how to sign up and its must-have features.

How to sign up

If you’re already signed up and just want to learn how to use MEXC, you can skip to the next section. For everyone else, let’s get started with the MEXC signup process.

how to trade

Now let’s get to the main part of any exchange and that is trading. Fortunately, trading on MEXC is easy. It’s very similar to exchanges like KuCoin, which ask you to deposit it into a trading account first.

First, navigate to the home page. Click on “Wallets” at the top of the page

empty

Now you will be forwarded to the following page. Click on the spot that says “Deposit”.

This is where you select your preferred crypto

Once you have deposited your crypto it is in your trading account.

Now go to “Trade”. It’s in the top-left corner of the page. Click Trade. Select Spot from the drop-down bar.

empty

Next, you can start spot trading using market or limit orders! As you can see in the screenshot below. You can choose between Limit or Market with one click.

empty

For those unfamiliar with the terms, here is a brief introduction. A market order is the quickest option. When selected, it automatically selects the price of the crypto they are buying for you. As you know, crypto prices fluctuate quickly, so make sure you buy your crypto as soon as possible.

If you are more concerned with getting the best price, choose the limit order. In the field labeled Price, enter the desired price at which you want to buy your crypto. When the market reaches this price, your order will be ‘filled’. Limit orders are especially useful when you make very large purchases. The perfect order price can make a big difference. Note: There is no guarantee that your order will be fulfilled.

Advanced MEXC features

MEXC has some special features. This is about what they are.

futures trading

MEXC has an abundance of futures options. As you can see from the list, you can trade futures contracts with both stablecoins and crypto as collateral. Not to mention that you can use the demo trading feature. Demo trading is great if you want to simulate the crypto futures experience without losing your shirt. If you want to learn the ins and outs, this is a great option.

MEXC also offers an incredible range of earning opportunities for those looking for passive, passive income options. Options include Launchpad, which gives you new tokens, Trade Mining, where you earn from trades, as well as staking your garden variety.

Arguably the most unique feature that MEXC has to offer is the ETF trading options. If you want to diversify without leaving the world of crypto, this is the perfect option for you. With MEXC, you can leverage crypto ETFs without going into margin like you would have to if you were going long or short futures contracts. It is a stable and safe way to stay in the market regardless of the conditions.
