How to Find Local Jobs in Your City Using Twitter
Twitter is one of the best places to find freelance work, and here’s how to get started:
- Sign in to Twitter using a web browser. Enter any word in the search bar and click on it Enter.
- press the Three dots icon next to the search bar and tap search filter in the drop down menu that appears.
- Choose Advanced Search from the drop-down list.
- In which Advanced Search Field that appears on screen, fill in the labeled fields to fine-tune your job preferences. Add proven job-related and hiring hashtags and click Seek top right of the field.
Here’s a simple guide to using the advanced search feature to find local jobs:
- For the all those words Enter a descriptive term for your preferred job in the input field. B. Author of technical content or web developer.
- You can specify a preferred location in Exactly this sentence set up. This ensures that all results include mentions of that place.
- For the Those hashtags Area, provide popular job hashtags related to your area. This helps to better refine your search results. Some popular hashtags are #nohiring #remotework #jobsearch and #softwarejobs #ItJobs.
- If you just want a physical office job, add words like “remote” or “remote work.” None of those words field can help filter out results that explicitly state that a requisition is a remote position.
- Use the Out of and to Date fields to limit results to newer job postings and ensure you don’t follow up on expired postings.
Even if you’ve added a date filter to your search, you can even click to see the most recent results Latest at the top of the results screen. You will see results from local businesses filling a position in your city.
