When are Bros released?
brothers it previously premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, but will be released to a wide audience on September 30 by Universal Pictures. You can check the film’s official website for showtimes near you.
Will Bros be available to stream the same day as theaters?
Unfortunately, brothers won’t be available to stream on the same day as its theatrical release, and there’s no news on when it will end up streaming.
However, Universal Pictures signed a streaming deal with Peacock in July 2021, ending its longstanding deal with HBO. All of their theatrical and home video releases are released on the streamer no later than four months after their theatrical release. You can get a Peacock membership for $4.99 per month.

Eichner plays Bobby Lieber, a fast-paced New Yorker who touts his independence to his friends in relationships but secretly longs for more connection. When he meets Aaron (Luke Macfarlane), a handsome guy at the club, Bobby finally has to admit he wants a relationship. Unfortunately, Aaron is just as commitment-phobic as he is, so her path to love will be full of obstacles.

We see Eichner’s character Bobby working on the unveiling of the historic LGBTQ+ Museum in New York City. He is surrounded by spirited and bossy colleagues who turn every small addition into an unnecessarily large discussion. Aside from them, Bobby is also pursued by his friends who want him to settle down, be it in a traditional relationship or an unconventional one. Bobby realizes independence is a great gift, but it definitely comes at the cost of his own loneliness until he meets Aaron. He may seem like his polar opposite, but his quick wit and similar relationship philosophy make him the perfect partner. That being said, the trailer gives us a taste of some of the hilarious and well-deserved jabs at straight people. This is definitely not a straight comedy with awkwardly inserted gay characters.
Who is the director of Bros?
The director of brothers is Nicholas Stoeller. Stoller is best known for his 2008 hit, Forgot Sarah Marshall. This tale of a 30-something loser who goes to Hawaii to get over his recent breakup and instead finds his ex-girlfriend in the arms of a rock star was one of the most refreshing rom-coms of the decade. This resulted in a solid working line for Stoller. Since then he has worked with two of his stars Forgot Sarah Marshall in Take him to the Greek With Russell Brand and The five year engagement With Jason Segel. His most financially successful venture came recently when he directed the liaison comedy Neighbors and its continuation Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. Film aside, Stoller began working on the criminally underrated show on television Undeclared and more recently the star-studded Netflix show, friends from college.
