What you should know
The Cleveland Browns have been 3-10 against the Baltimore Ravens since September 2016, but they have a chance to close the gap a little on Saturday. Cleveland and Baltimore will face off in an AFC North bout at 4:30 p.m. ET at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Ravens will stumble in after a win, while Cleveland will stumble in after a loss.
Cleveland came up short against the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday, losing 23-10. No one had outstanding play on offense for Cleveland, but they did get a touchdown from TE David Njoku. QB Deshaun Watson ended up with a passer rating of 120.20.
Meanwhile, Baltimore narrowly walked away with a win as the roster edged past the Pittsburgh Steelers 16-14. Baltimore’s RB JK Dobbins was one of the team’s most active players, rushing for a TD and 120 yards on 15 carries. That nimble footwork is noticeable as Dobbins hit the 100-yard rushing mark for the first time this season.
Most of the roster’s points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed ten. K Justin Tucker delivered a perfect 3v3 game.
This next game is expected to be tight as the Browns go out as favorites by just 2.5 points. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with Cleveland being 6-7 against the spread.
