The Las Vegas Raiders have been 2-10 against the Kansas City Chiefs since October 2016, but on Monday they have a chance to close the gap a little. Las Vegas and Kansas City will face off in an AFC West bout at 8:15 p.m. ET at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Both teams come into the game stronger with wins from previous games.

The Raiders had a touchdown and a substitution to spare in a 32-23 win over the Denver Broncos last Sunday. RB Josh Jacobs was the offensive standout of the competition for Las Vegas, rushing for two TDs and 144 yards on 28 carries. This marked the first time Jacobs had accumulated more than 100 rushing yards all year. Jacobs’ sharp performance also set his single-game rushing touchdown up for the season.

Meanwhile, Kansas City pulled off a solid win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday, winning 41-31. The Chiefs can credit much of their success to RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who hit a rushing touchdown and snapped a TD, and QB Patrick Mahomes, who passed on 37 tries for three TDs and 249 yards, in addition to picking up 34 yards on the floor. Mahomes ended up with a passer rating of 140.
