How to Watch ‘Clerks 3’ — Now Available to Buy Online

Director Kevin Smith’s latest comedy, Clerks 3, is now available to watch at home.
The film follows the return of Dante, Randal, Jay and Silent Bob from Smith’s indie hit Clerks (1994).
You can buy Clerks 3 for $15 from digital retailers like Amazon and Vudu.

Kevin Smith’s 1994 indie hit Clerks spawned a whole cohesive universe of comedy spinoffs and sequels. The latest entry in the series is Clerks 3, which takes the franchise back to where it all began.

The new film continues 15 years after the events of Clerks 2, starring our titular employees Dante (Brian O’Halloran) and Randal (Jeff Anderson). When Randal suffers a heart attack, he decides to make a film about his time at work with his friends at the Quick Stop supermarket. The film also stars Marilyn Ghigliotti, Rosario Dawson, Trevor Fehrman and Jason Mewes and features appearances from Ben Affleck, Amy Sedaris, Fred Armisen and more.

Clerks 3 is part of Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse series of coherent films, all sharing common characters and events – similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but for stoner comedy. The series is held together by frequent appearances by Jay and Silent Bob, a comedic duo played by Jason Mewes and Smith, respectively.

Clerks 3 hit theaters on September 13 and special screenings will be held as part of a roadshow tour through November. The film made its online debut on October 14.

You can buy Clerks 3 now to watch at home from digital retailers including Amazon, Vudu and Apple TV. The film is currently $15 to buy in up to 4K quality.

Once you have purchased Clerks 3, you can stream it anytime without any restrictions. If you’d rather own a physical copy of the film, you can buy it on Blu-ray starting December 6th. It’s likely that a digital rental option will also be introduced at this point.

Digital retailer apps are available on most major brand smart TVs, media players, mobile devices and game consoles. Be sure to check each retailer’s website to ensure your device is supported.

Is Clerks 3 worth watching?

“Clerks 3” currently has a rating of “63% Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 117 reviews. Though some reviewers dislike the film for being inconsistent, most critics praise its surprisingly heartfelt and personal story.

Fans of Smith’s previous Clerks films and his other View Askewniverse films should enjoy this latest entry.
