The 2022-23 season of the PGA Tour officially begins Thursday morning with the opening round of the 2022 Fortinet Championship. Here’s what you need to know to watch Round 1 on TV or online.

Round 1 preview

The highest-ranked player in the field in this week’s season opener is world No. 16 Hideki Matsuyama. The 30-year-old Masters champion finished 6th in last year’s Fortinet and that experience at the Silverado Resort venue makes him one of the betting favorites this week.

Hideki’s co-betting favorite is the same player who beat him by six shots to win the 2021 Fortinet title last year: Max Homa. Matsuyama will start his first round at 10:44 a.m. ET, while Homa will wait until 4:05 p.m. ET on Thursday to tee off.
