How to watch House of the Dragon Episode 4: Catch up on the Game of Thrones prequel

How to Watch House of the Dragon Episode 4: You can catch up on the first three episodes of the GoT spin-off and stream House of the Dragon Episode 4 live in the UK.

We’re nearing mid-season in House of the Dragon and things are getting real. With three eventful episodes now in the books, we’ve seen Birth, Marriage, Death, Betrayal, our first taste of real combat, but surprisingly little nudity and How’s Your Father.

If you haven’t seen episodes 1, 2 and 3 yet, there are some spoilers ahead…

This Targaryen family drama – set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones – is all about the succession to the throne of King Viserys (Paddy Considine), and it’s about to get delicious.

The succession plan put the cat among the doves at King’s Landing. The king, fresh from losing his wife and newborn son in childbirth, has controversially chosen a new heir – his daughter Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy).

Despite soon having a new son by his daughter’s best friend and new wife, Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) remains next in line to the Iron Throne. And that’s despite much interference from the big houses (Lennisters are already assholes here) and objections from the king’s brother, Daemon (Matt Smith).

He was banished from the royal court and has gone with his dragon to Dragonstone, the family ancestral home, which you will remember as important from the last few seasons of GoT. Now he fights alongside Corlys aka “The Sea Snake”, the richest guy around, to liberate the pirate empire.

At the end of Episode 3, Daemon acted boldly (before the king’s fleet came to save a failed campaign) to defeat the evil Crabfeeder. This victory came despite being pelted by arrows and somehow dodging about two million others.

So on to Episode 4. The scene for George RR Martin’s latest adaptation is set, so read on to learn how to watch House of the Dragon Episode 4 on the best TV you have in the house.
