How to watch Italy vs England for free: The Nations League continues tonight as England take on Italy, the conquerors of Euro 2020. How to watch and stream UK Free TV.

Hard to believe, but in two months there will be a world championship. Time is running out for international managers to commit to their squads for the oddity of a mid-season tournament in a place too hot to play in the summer – Qatar.

England have struggled in the Nations League since disappointing against tonight’s opponents in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley. They are winless after their first four Nations League games and a defeat in Milan tonight will see England drop out of Nations League A and into Group B. Ouch. Hardly befitting for the EM finalists and World Cup semi-finalists of 2018.

There is a chance of redemption tonight, however, as Gareth Southgate’s side take on Roberto Mancini’s side again in a bid to gain momentum ahead of the World Cup. Italy, of course, will not travel to Qatar after spectacularly failing to qualify for the tournament. It is the second World Cup in a row that the four-time winner will not be there.

Gareth Southgate has named a strong team for tonight’s game with skipper Harry Kane leading the line supported by Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling and Bukayo Saka. Jude Bellingham also starts after his super performance for Dortmund against Man City in the Champions League and becomes a partner of Declan Rice in midfield. Reece James will start at right back alongside Harry Maguire, Eric Dyer and Kyle Walker. Nick Pope is in goal.
