The Indianapolis Colts are looking forward to shaking off the nerve that has been plaguing them to start the 2022 regular season.
After a 0-1-1 start, things don’t get any easier with a matchup against the 2-0 Kansas City Chiefs. However, it’s the Colts’ home game at Lucas Oil Stadium, so anything can happen.

“I think it’s hard not to overreact,” Colts head coach Frank Reich told reporters about the Colts’ slow start, punctuated by the Week 2 shutout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. “We all want to do that. You can look at a really bad loss like this and resist the temptation to overreact and make general changes. With every great coach I’ve experienced as a player and as an assistant coach, I just hear the same thing ringing in my ear. I said that recently. It’s not about making things more complex. It’s not about general overhauls. You have to do what you do. We just have to all do better.”

“It sounds like a broken record,” Reich continued. “It’s a broken record. That’s because that’s true. It doesn’t just apply to what’s on our team. I think any head coach in the league would tell you the same thing. We have to do it. We have to. ” We have to have the best plans, try to put the players in the best positions, and then we have to execute, produce and make plays in all three phases.
Will quarterback Matt Ryan and the Colts offense show any signs of life against a Chiefs defense from the middle of the field? Will the Colts defense put pressure on Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and capitalize on any mistakes?
