What you should know
The Iowa Hawkeyes have been 7-0 up against the Illinois Fighting Illini since October 2015 and have a chance to continue that success on Saturday. Iowa and Illinois will face off in a Big Ten battle at 7:30 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium. Iowa is expected to lose this next one by 4. Those picked against the spread last week should keep in mind that the team has yet to lose consecutive games against the spread this season.
A few defensive numbers to keep an eye on before kickoff: The Hawkeyes rank third in the nation when it comes to touchdowns allowed, with just five in the season. But the Fighting Illini are even better: They compete with three players with the fewest touchdowns allowed in the nation. We’ll see if that lead gives Illinois a path to victory.
