IRCTC Latest Update: Indian Railways Cancelled Over 330 Trains On February 26

Indian Railways canceled almost 331 trains entirely on February 25 due to maintenance and operational problems.

Latest IRCTC update, January 18th: Indian Railways has announced that as of February 26 (Sunday) a total of 331 trains have been completely canceled due to multiple operational and maintenance issues. In addition, up to 108 trains will be partially canceled due to similar maintenance issues, according to the latest notification on the IRCTC website. The list of failed trains includes trains from several Indian cities like Lucknow, Bokaro Steel City, Amravati, Wardha, Nagpur, Pune, Pathankot, Asansol, Azimganj, Satara etc.

  2. Next, select Exceptional Trains at the top of the screen
  3. Click on the Canceled Trains option
  4. Choose the “Full” or “Partial” option to view the full list of trains with time, routes and other details as per requirements

Now Indian Railways also allows checking the running status of live trains.

Steps to check live train running status:

  1. Visit the official website https://www.irctchelp.in/live-train-running-status/
  2. Enter the train number in the text field provided.
  3. Select the date or enter it in DD-MM-YYYY format.
  4. Click the Find button to get the result in table format
  5. Check via SMS Send SMS as SMS ‘AD’ to 139
  6. Call 139 to contact Indian Railway Inquiry Number
