Latest ‘Built Ford Proud’ Campaign Features Sydney Sweeney And A Pro Surfer

Ford has opened the next chapter of its Built Ford Proud ad campaign, starring actor Sydney Sweeney, stunt driver Dee Bryant and professional surfer Kai Lenny.

Sweeney, Bryant and Lenny are all Ford fanatics and each has their own history with the marque. The automaker says the Built Ford Proud campaign “celebrates the larger community of Ford drivers who have broken with form, pushed innovation and defied stereotypes for nearly 120 years.”

Dee Bryant is a co-founder of the Association of Women Drivers and one of only a handful of African American female professional stunt drivers in the entertainment industry. In the first clip of the campaign she is shown expertly drifting the 2024 Ford Mustang and in a subsequent video she will show viewers the all-electric Mustang Mach-E up close.

Then there’s Sydney Sweeney. Best known for her roles in ‘Euphoria’ and ‘The White Lotus,’ the Emmy Award-nominated actress restored her vintage Ford Bronco while describing part of the process on her @Syd’s_Garage channel on TikTok. She is also launching a workwear collection with Ford, made in partnership with Dickies.

“This campaign is very sincere to me,” Sweeney said. “Through my Auto 101 range and Female Forward Workwear collection, I hope to inspire and encourage women to pursue their passions, get involved in the world of cars and show that anyone can follow their dreams, no matter what they do are! ”

As previously mentioned, Kai Lenny is a professional surfer and has had a strong connection since turning pro with Ford’s pickup trucks, which he uses to transport his team, jet skis and retired Coast Guard boat to various locations in Maui, Hawaii. Ford donated eight colored surfboards to Lenny’s charity, the Positively Kai Foundation, as part of the campaign.
