This story is part of Select’s New & Notable column, where we highlight our most popular launches, notable sales, our purchases and some of our latest recommendations and advice.

This week we highlighted the new running shoe from Lululemon, a personal blender from Smeg, the latest cookware from Our Place and more.

New this week

  1. The Lululemon Blissfeel 2 running shoe is the latest addition to the brand’s footwear collection. The overall fit and cushioning profile of the shoe are designed to provide the best possible support for women’s feet, according to the brand. It has a 3D-molded midfoot that wraps the foot and a durable, segmented outsole to create traction between the foot and the pavement. You can purchase the Blissfeel 2 in women’s sizes 5 through 12 (including half sizes).
  2. To use Smeg’s new Personal Fit Blender, place the steel blade cap on one of the included dishwasher safe bottles, place onto the appliance and press down. The mixer offers two speed settings to choose from. You can drink from the same bottle you mixed your food or drink into, or add the screw cap to store leftovers. The personal blender has a stainless steel base with non-slip feet and shares the same mid-century aesthetic as the brand’s other kitchen appliances.
  3. Our Place’s Perfect Pot is now available in cast iron, which the brand says is safe to use on all stovetops and in the oven or grill up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The 5.5 liter pot doubles as a casserole, allowing you to stew, roast, bake, slow cook and more. It comes with an enamelled cast iron lid, a beech wood scraper that fits into the pot handles and two silicone hot grips. According to Our Place, the Cast Iron Perfect Pot is currently available in limited quantities, with a full release coming in May.
  4. Burrow debuted its new Relay collection with its very first outdoor furniture offerings. The modular outdoor sofa allows you to create any configuration that works best for your space and comes with cushions upholstered in weatherproof fabric that the brand says repels liquids, dirt and UV rays. Burrow has designed its Banks Outdoor Chair to be assembled without tools and you can complete your patio or garden with the brand’s coffee table. A metal dining table that seats up to six people and dining chairs are also part of the Relay collection. Burrow also sells waterproof covers for its outdoor seating.
  5. The personal care collection of Fig. 1 consists of three products that target dark and age spots, small imperfections and dull, dry skin. Exfoliating Body Polish is formulated with volcanic pumice to exfoliate skin and glycerin to soften skin. The body serum contains retinol to reduce the age of crepey skin and make it firmer and smoother. And finally, the All Over Oil can be used on the face, body, hair and scalp. It contains vitamins A, C and E as well as squalene for hydration and conditioning.

What we bought this week

“I work much more efficiently when I have two monitors. Going on a trip that would involve working remotely, I was looking for a different monitor that would be portable and easy to set up. This portable monitor from Amazon was the perfect option. It’s thin and light like a tablet and comes with a case that converts into a stand. It also comes with all the cables needed to easily connect it to any type of laptop. I put it in my backpack while I change places and just set it up in my Airbnb, cafes, etc.” – Klay Drageset, Trading Partnerships

“A trip to Home Depot almost completely put me off installing blinds in my apartment kitchen because of the high price. But Instagram knows exactly who it’s targeting and later in the day showed me an Ikea ad for these affordable Ringblomma roman blinds – I immediately put them in my cart and checked out. They were so easy to install and are the perfect addition to my space. The blinds help filter the light so the sun isn’t too bright in my kitchen, and I love that you can raise them to predetermined heights – there are magnets in the blinds’ channels. You can also hang the blinds on a curtain rod, use screws or hooks, giving you many options.” — Zoe Malin, Assistant Editor for Updates
