Blizzard dropped it surveillance 2 dating sim, Loverwatch – Love never dies, earlier today and I’m happy to say it’s an absolute smash. The standalone game, which you can now play on a dedicated website, is packed with jokes, memes, and just plain fun.
You will awkwardly flirt with Mercy and Genji while building relationships with them. If the heroes make you nervous, Cupid (who is definitely not Hanzo) is available to help with advice. The whole thing takes about 30 minutes depending on how fast you can read.
I don’t want to spoil too much, but you can expect some cameos and a chance to poke fun at multiple heroes. A dialogue option gives you the chance to taunt Genji for always needing healing, even when he’s deep in enemy territory and doing his own thing way out of reach of his support. Sigh.
It is worth playing through the stories of Mercy and Genji. There’s a secret ending you can achieve depending on how your journeys unfold with both characters, you promiscuous flirt. you can strike surveillance 2 Playing Rewards lover’s watch to.
Aside from all the gags (many of which are downright hilarious) and how purely enjoyable the whole experience is, I think that’s what I like best lover’s watch is how comprehensive it is. Gender doesn’t matter. If you’d rather have a platonic relationship with Genji and Mercy, that’s totally fine too.
lover’s watch often breaks the fourth wall. It’s not afraid to poke fun at Overwatch lore, the main game, and the players. The developers are aware of the memes and how fans perceive (thirst for them) certain characters (Hanzo).
Too bad the dating sim will only be live for a few weeks. I would love to see Blizzard continue to expand lover’s watch by adding more depth and making it longer. There are so many characters to play around with, and the fact that the dating sim isn’t canon means the team can let loose without being tied to existing lore.
I would like to buy one surveillance 2 dating sim. If behavior can get Dead by daylight Fans pay for a dating sim, I’m sure Team 4 can do that too. Anyway, more stuff like this please, Blizzard.
