Madden 23 Early Access MUT Challenges – How To Unlock Bonus Coins With EA Play

Madden 23 is available now for EA Play subscribers, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, and all All-Madden Edition pre-orders. If you’re one of those early fans of the virtual gridiron, don’t miss out on the limited-time Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) Challenges. They’ll go away when the game officially launches on August 19th, so prioritize those first. If you’re hesitant to pre-order the game — or just waiting to get home and upload the EA Play trial — here’s what you need to know about the MUT Challenges for Madden 23 Early Access.

Madden 23 EA Play Trial MUT Challenges

The 10-hour EA Play trial is available a day earlier than announced, meaning anyone who subscribes to EA Play or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can play the game for up to 10 hours until the game launches on August 19th. Those who bought the All-Madden Edition are not limited in time, but if you are in one of the three groups you can take on 10 exclusive challenges that no one else has access to.

The challenges are fairly simple and mainly serve to give you a boost as you start another year of MUT games. If you’re an annual MUT player these challenges will look pretty familiar, but if you’re new to Madden – or just new to playing it early – here’s what to expect across the 10 in-game challenges .

Each challenge has a maximum of 400 coins that you can earn based on how many stars you earn. You can choose one of two difficulty levels for one or two stars if you complete the challenge, and hunt down another pair of optional challenges to maximize your earned stars.

23 For you! – 400 coins

Gain 23 yards on the drive. Bonus objectives include making it in no more than five games and running at least 10 meters.

Score a touchdown. Bonus goals include a passing touchdown and 5+ rushing yards.

dr Jekyll?

Don’t allow a passing touchdown. Bonus goals include not allowing a touchdown at all and not allowing more than 23 rushing yards.

12 and 23

Gain 23+ passing yards in six games or fewer. Bonus objectives include gaining the required yards in four or fewer games and completing a pass in two different games.

Bridging the distance

Score 3+ points on the ride. Bonus goals include passing for 23+ yards and rushing for 10+ yards.

Get a first down and score a touchdown on the same drive. Bonus objectives include gaining more than 5 yards on the first game and running more than 5 yards in total.

23mph

Score a quick touchdown. Bonus goals include rushing for 23+ yards in six games or fewer and scoring two or more first downs.

Stop the offensive!

Don’t allow a touchdown. Bonus goals include not allowing more than 23 yards and not allowing passing yards on the first game.

23 years in the making

Score a touchdown. Bonus goals include passing a total of 60+ yards and passing 20+ yards in three games

The early bird special

win the game Bonus objectives include scoring more than 7 points and preventing the opponent from scoring a touchdown

If you’ve completed all of these challenges, you’ll have earned no less than 23,000 coins – which isn’t much in your season-long quest to compete in MUT, but it will at least help you quickly replace one of the sad recipients you’re doing that with start game.
