Mario Movie Trailer Release Time & How to Watch

The Super Mario Bros. movie gets its first trailer today, and here’s how fans can get in the mood for the event.


After over a year of recording the voice cast announcement for the untitled animated feature film Mario Illumination movie, Nintendo is finally ready to pull back the curtain on fans. The first official teaser trailer for The Super Mario Bros. The film takes place today, October 6, 2022, to coincide with New York Comic-Con. However, for those wanting to tune in to the trailer with the rest of the world for the first time, fans don’t have to attend the convention.

Two days ago, on October 4th, Nintendo tweeted the first poster for the Super Mario Bros. Film that reveals that the Trailer would air on Thursday, October 6 at 1:05 PT / 2:05 MT / 3:05 CT / 4:05 ET. Nintendo also mentioned that no video game information would be shared during the film’s trailer stream. So if fans were hoping for a joint announcement to coincide with the film, don’t get your hopes up.

Where can you see the trailer for the Mario movie?

Nintendo fans excited by the Mario The movie trailer can be viewed on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel linked below. It starts at 1:05pm PT so get ready and keep it locked on that account. If someone can’t be there during the live stream, the video will likely be uploaded to Nintendo’s channel for everyone to watch if they have a spare minute.

That Mario Film has a star-studded cast of actors to portray the residents of the Mushroom Kingdom. Here’s the list of leading talent that fans should expect to hear during the first trailer:

The untitled Mario Film will premiere in theaters on April 7, 2023.
