Regardless, the Stars should have no trouble taking care of business against a Canucks team that has conceded the second-most goals per game this season.
The Canucks recently traded former captain Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders, and the Stars concede the second fewest goals per game. Since these are 2 teams going in opposite directions, the game will be to support the home team.

College basketball picks today: Iowa State Cyclones -4 over West Virginia Mountaineers (-110), 9:00 p.m. ET
The best play of this game seems to be for the state of Iowa to protect their home court and cover that short spread. The Cyclones are 13-2 at home this season, their losses coming to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. According to KenPom, Iowa State Defense ranks 2nd in revenue percentage and 8th in adjusted efficiency. West Virginia’s offense, on the other hand, ranks 208th in terms of revenue percentage, so Iowa State’s support will be the play.

Today’s MLS selection: Portland Timbers ML vs. Sporting Kansas City (+100), 10:00 p.m. ET
