NBA All-Star injury replacements: Updated list of starters, reserves ahead of 2023 All-Star Game

Unfortunately for the many NBA fans looking forward to All-Star Weekend, some notable names will not be available to attend this year’s celebrations.

Stephen Curry (leg), Kevin Durant (knee) and Zion Williamson (hamstring) were disqualified from the 2023 All-Star Game. Her injuries opened the door for some candidates who initially missed the cut and pushed some reserves into the starting pool.

2023 All-Star Injury Substitute

The NBA announced on February 10 that Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, Kings guard De’Aaron Fox and Raptors forward Pascal Siakam would be the injured substitutes for Curry, Durant and Williamson.

Also, 76ers center Joel Embiid, Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen and Grizzlies guard Ja Morant will now be starters instead of reserves.
