NBA best bets: Best player props for Warriors vs. Timberwolves

The Golden State Warriors are still without Steph Curry. But Klay Thompson takes over while we await Curry’s return.

Thompson lost 42 points to the Houston Rockets after the All-Star break while Jordan Poole added eight assists. Those two should help the Warriors stay competitive while Curry recovers from an injury.

The Warriors are sitting at 30-30 in the season. Nobody expected Golden State here. But the Warriors still have plenty of time to make waves in the Western Conference.

They will face the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are sitting at .500 with 31-31 this season. Minnesota made a significant acquisition to land Rudy Gobert in the offseason. He hasn’t made a huge impact on the team. Meanwhile, the team is still waiting for Karl-Anthony Towns to return to the team. He is expected back in the next few weeks.

Despite this, Minnesota added Mike Conley to point guard at the NBA Trade Deadline. That kind of move should help Minnesota through the rest of the season.

Here are some player props for tonight’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Golden State Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Player Prop Picks

Kyle Anderson 4.5+ Assists (-111) (Bet $100 to collect $190) Get Best Odds at FanDuel, click here to bet

Kyle Anderson is a sneaky box score stuffer. He’s averaged 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game this season.

Anderson has added at least five assists in six of his last 10 games and in 60% of his last 20 games. He’s also earned about 30 minutes in his last two games and added 14 assists in those two games as he scored high minutes.

Anderson should probably end up with at least six assists.

Rudy Gobert Over 14.5 points (-122) (Bet $100 to collect $281) Get the best odds at FanDuel, click here to bet

Gobert has been a bit more aggressive lately. He averages 13.4 points per game but has scored at least 15 points in his last three games.

In February, the big man shoots over 70% from the field and attempts 7.7 shots per game. However, he has shot at least nine tries per game in the last three games. This extra volume is crucial for Gobert.

Jaden McDaniels Over 3.5 Rebounds (-132) (Bet $100 to raise $175) Get the best odds at FanDuel, click here to bet

Jaden McDaniels has had at least four rebounds in his last five games. He’s also had four rebounds in six of his last 10 and 60% of his last 20.

McDaniels averaged 4.4 rebounds in February, though he’s averaged just 3.9 rebounds per game this season. He smashes the glass more and the ball finds his hands further from the edge.

The power forward has been earning at least 30 minutes lately, and the longer he’s out there the more opportunities he has to bring those boards down.
