NeverNoT’s Latest Collection Will Have You Packing Your Bags – JCK

For the few remaining people who haven’t resumed travel yet, 2023 could finally be the year to do so. And if you’re looking for that extra inspiration to get started, NeverNoT has it.

Malachite and mother-of-pearl mini suitcases, cute diamond sunglass charms and colorful NeverNoT enamel – the British brand’s new collection makes a great statement of love for travel.

Here are a few questions for Nina Dzhokhadze, NeverNoT co-founder and press and sales director, about the new line and her travel plans for 2023.

What do you think consumers will think or feel when they see this new collection?

The feedback so far has been incredible. We’ve just launched the collection and the press and buyers love it, but the most important thing is that our loyal customers love it and are already pre-ordering it even though we haven’t launched it online yet.

New pieces remained colorful as a hallmark of our brand, but we used hard stones – malachite, opal, tiger’s eye, quartz – and diamonds, something we’ve never done before.

Did certain travel destinations inspire this collection?

Each suitcase has its own name linked to the destinations that inspired us. For example, the opal case so vibrant and blue is called Beach Escape because it reminds us of the crystal clear waters on our trip to the Maldives. Powder Snow is the name of the black and white mother-of-pearl suitcase that is reminiscent of skiing and snowboarding holidays and a bit of frosty weather.

The collection was inspired by traveling around the world and seeing completely different things, whether it’s an African safari, the Amazon forest in Brazil or Asian sunsets in bright red and blue.

Now is definitely the time for people to get back into travel! How do you suggest jewelers be remembered as consumers start to diversify their spending (e.g. on travel) post-pandemic?

I think after the pandemic we started to appreciate and enjoy new travel destinations and especially travel, almost like we enjoy every second of it and appreciate it even more. This collection was very much inspired by the excitement of packing your suitcase and jetting off to a new place – that feeling when you are on a plane high in the sky dreaming and feeling happy through the plane window seat. We wanted to package those memories and put them in every piece. Each suitcase from the new collection is meant to be the memory of special adventures, so I think it is a very meaningful piece that will stay with you and you will carry and cherish your travel memories.

Do you have travel plans this year?

Oh yeah! We are going to Paris in March for Paris Fashion Week to show our buyers the collection and of course Vegas is calling us for the couture show in June, which is very exciting.

In addition to business trips, Japan and Brazil are on the calendar. We’re very much in a never-not-travel mood.
