New iOS 16 Lock Screen: How to Customize Photos, Widgets and Fonts

iOS 16the latest mobile operating system for the iPhonewas fired all compatible iPhones on Monday. While the new upgrade is full of cool featuresperhaps the biggest is a new customizable lock screen.
With the new lock screen on iPhones with iOS 16, you can automatically rotate through images, enable filters, change font and color, add widgets, and more. If you’ve been waiting for a chance to break free from Apple’s traditionally limited lock screen options, then your time has come.
Here’s how you can customize your lock screen iOS 16.
To customize your lock screen image or add a filter, just press and hold the image and tap on it To adjust. From there, swipe left or right to choose from different styles, filters, and fonts. If you want to go beyond the suggested styles, you can customize them further by tapping any element on the lock screen. For example, if you want to change the font or color of the time, you can tap the clock to do so.
You can also add widgets right on the lock screen if you want to have at-a-glance information like the weather, activity rings, or calendar events. You can tap plus sign under the clock to bring the Widget gallery. Then simply drag and drop the widgets you want from the gallery onto your lock screen.
Once you’ve personalized your lock screen to your liking, you can tap Finished in the upper right corner to save it.
You can also create a completely new look from scratch. Swipe right on the lock screen to bring up a new wallpaper gallery with different preset collections and themes to choose from. Or you can choose from your own photo library.
If you want to look through a series of photos throughout the day, you can select them Photo shuffle Possibility. You can scroll through them Suggested photos Library to find smartly curated photos from your photo library.
