Nicola Bulley latest as police hold press conference on missing mum – live updates

Police are preparing a press conference to update the public on the ongoing search for missing mother Nicola Bulley.

The briefing will take place at 11.30am as speculation about what may have happened to her has continued to mount in the 19 days since she disappeared while walking her dog in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire.

At a press conference on Feb. 3, the force first shared with the public its “main working hypothesis” that the mortgage advisor fell into the river during a “10-minute window” between 9:10 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. that day. The force said her disappearance is not being treated as suspicious.

The man was released on bail pending further investigation until May 12, while the woman remains in custody. On Monday, Wyre Council removed council members’ contact details from its website due to “inappropriate emails and phone calls” about Ms Bulley’s disappearance.

It said it had temporarily removed contact details for “Community and City Council members” after Lancashire Police confirmed their investigation. Meanwhile, Ms Bulley’s friends and neighbors, including her neighbor and friend Charlotte Drake, continue to flock to a bridge across the Wyre to lay yellow ribbons with messages saying they still hope she’s safe and sound Is found.

Deputy Chief Constable Peter Lawson and Senior Investigating Officer Detective Superintendent Rebecca Smith will chair the conference.
