The 2022 World Cup offers a change of pace for football fans as they watch their national team compete in Qatar for the greatest honor in international football.

Traveling fans will experience a World Cup in the Middle East for the first time, and fans staying at home will be glued to their screens as five weeks of action kick off on November 20th.

How many stickers in the Panini World Cup 2022 album?

Fans looking to fill up their sticker albums for the 2022 World Cup will already be planning how to complete it during the tournament, with Panini confirming that 670 stickers will be included in this edition.

All 32 qualifying nations will have 18-player roster pages, plus extras for kits and badges, and 50 elusive shinies.

How to Buy Panini World Cup Sticker Packs and Boxes

With the World Cup only giving Panini fans a short window to fill their albums, the Italian sticker maestros are offering bulk purchases including boxes of 50 and packs of 100 stickers.

The official Panini website sells boxes of 50 and 100 sticker packs to give fans a head start.

In the UK, Panini has also confirmed that individual sticker packs (of 5 stickers) will be available from most major retailers including supermarkets and newsagents.

Bulk packs are available at £45/$50 for 50 packs and boxes of 100 packs for £90/$100, with multi-packs (containing two boxes of 15 packs) available for £25.98/$29.08.

Individual packs of five stickers, purchased separately, are available for 90p/$1.

How much does it cost to fill an album?

In theory, a Panini World Cup 2022 album (with all 670 stickers) can be completed for £120.60/$135 if you manage to collect them all and swap out all the spares on the first try.

However, as Panini fans know all too well, it’s almost impossible to get a clean break from the start, as football finance expert Kieran Maguire estimates the average album for Qatar cost around £883.80/$989.33 without swaps becomes.

Panini is offering fans the opportunity to secure missing tickets to complete their collection through their website, where fans can choose stickers or purchase mixed packs of “missing stickers”.

How to exchange Panini World Cup stickers online

With 670 stickers to collect to complete a World Cup album over the coming months, fans will need to be swapped out to ensure they don’t fall short.

The two main websites for exchanging and trading stickers are Sticker Manager and Last Sticker, with options to enter the number and specific stickers you need, as well as the number of swaps you have available to trade with other collectors.

When will the Panini World Cup stickers 2022 be released?

Stickers and albums are already available on the Panini website and in retail outlets. Panini announced the official launch date for August 25th, which means you have some catching up to do if you haven’t started collecting yet!
