Sterling builds her own soccer field on a basketball court

In the video shared by Brittany’s Instagram Stories, Sterling kicks a basketball around. She doesn’t pay attention to her mother, who keeps telling her to pick up the ball and dribble. She dribbles, but soccer style. And she’s pretty good at it. Towards the end of the video, even Brittany realizes that Sterling likes soccer more than basketball. Maybe the Kansas City Current has a chance for a dribbler.

Brittany has co-owned the NWSL outfit since its inception in 2021. Her husband and the Kansas City chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes joined the ownership group last year. And Sterling has apparently found her love in football. The stars are really in her favor to have a great career in the sport of her choice.

Patrick Mahomes’ daughter to follow her mother?

Sterling is only two at the moment, but she has already charted a path if she wants to take up her mother’s sport. Patrick Mahomes revealed how much she loves football last year.

“It was really cool to see that we didn’t even really teach Sterling how to kick a football. She just saw one and went up and started kicking it. So now every time she sees one, she does that and kind of dribbles it.” the Chiefs QB he said in an interview last year.

In addition to her already secured college scholarship to Texas Tech, her father’s alma mater, Sterling is also fortunate to have her mother, Brittany Mahomes, as a coach. Brittany brings a wealth of experience, having been a professional soccer player during her college days. To top it off, the Mahomes family even owns a women’s soccer team. With all of these resources at her disposal, Sterling has everything she needs to achieve her dream of playing football, if that is what she truly desires.
