Paul Gallen vs. Justin Hodges & Ben Hannant: Date, location, tickets, undercard and more

Paul Gallen has never been one to back down from a challenge, and for what may be his last time in a boxing ring, he bit off a big one.

The former NRL Premiership winner will attempt to fight two opponents in one night.

Can the old warrior put on one last show?

Here’s everything you need to know about the event.

Who is Paul Gallen fighting against?

Gallen meets two Rugby League greats from Queensland in Justin Hodges and Ben Hannant.

Hodges has been courting Gallen for a number of years, while Hannant, who only made his pro debut in June, will also be back in action.

Gallen has an impressive 12-2-1 record in the ring and would be a huge favorite against the 5-1 Hodges in a conventional format, but having to fight two different opponents on one night is a tall order, even if considering Hannant’s (0-1) inexperience.

Organizers have yet to confirm the order in which Gallen will face the pair, how many bouts will take place between Gallen bouts, and how long each bout will last.

When and where does Gallen vs. Hodges & Hannant take place?

The fight is closed to the Nissan Arena in Brisbane Thursday, 09/15

Gallen can expect a frosty reception from a likely narrow-minded crowd of Queenslanders, but he probably wouldn’t have it any other way.

It will be Gallen’s first fight since his decision loss to Kris Terzievski in May, while Hodges is catching up quickly after beating Jordan Simi in July.

Hannant’s last fight was his first loss to Hodges in June.
