The Sixers have also been battered lately, with James Harden struggling with a left Achilles tendon pain, Jalen McDaniels with a right hip problem, Danuel House Jr. with a shoulder problem and Joel Embiid with a calf issue. As they prepare for the Suns on Saturday, those players are questionable, while the Suns will miss Kevin Durant and Deandre Ayton.

The game can be viewed locally on NBC Sports Philadelphia (Sixers) and Bally Sports Arizona (Suns) at 10 p.m. EDT from the Footprint Center in Phoenix.

  • Scoring: Suns -2.5
  • Moneyline: Suns -145/Sixers +120
  • Over/Under: 224.5

sixes: DOUBT: James Harden (left Achilles tendon pain), Joel Embiid (right calf pain), Jalen McDaniels (right hip contusion), Danuel House Jr. (right shoulder pain)

To sunbathe: OUT: Kevin Durant (left ankle sprain), Deandre Ayton (right hip contusion)

Both the Sixers and Suns are in the second night of a back-to-back duel with Philadelphia in San Francisco and Phoenix in Sacramento on Friday. Both teams are struggling with injury problems and it’s almost an even playing field in this game.

The Suns have a dynamic backcourt in the form of Booker and Paul, and Philadelphia will certainly struggle with that when this happens. If Harden has to miss his third game in a row, Philadelphia will need Tobias Harris to continue playing well on offense for this group and they also need Tyrese Maxey to be more efficient. Under consideration of possible Injury woes for the Sixers, it’s hard to see them win this one.
