Presale renovation company Revive and real estate company NextHome have partnered to give home sellers access to a solution that enables efficient, technology-enabled interior makeovers.

The launch of the service will be officially announced at the 2023 NextHome conference on March 9-11 in Houston, Texas, according to the announcement sent to Inman.

Revive CEO and founder Michael Alladawi called NextHome the “franchise of the future” and said in the announcement that the company is known for recognizing innovation.

“Together we can deliver more of what buyers want in today’s market: ready-to-move homes,” he added.

Revive — the winner of the 2022 IOI Summit Pitch Battle — helps realtors convey to sellers the value of upgrading their homes before they put them on the market. The company’s software supports a costing model and provides market value estimates after the project is completed.

The software uses different user views and tools for sellers, agents and contractors. Renovation plans are put together by Revive employees using localized market data and past projects to create estimates and work with contractors. The company takes care of all aspects of construction and mainly focuses on kitchens, bathrooms and small scale renovations.

NextHome agents are tasked with inviting their sellers into the system, entering the listing information and selecting some comps to be used by Revive throughout the relationship.

“Home sellers make an average of $186,000 in additional profits when they sell their homes with Revive,” the company said.

Pre-sale renovations typically begin within seven days of signing an agreement and take an average of four to six weeks to complete, ensuring minimal off-market time.

Indy Brokerage NextHome has more than 5,500 NextHome agents in 610 offices in 48 states. For the third year in a row, it was named the #1 franchise in the US and Canada by the Franchise Business Review, beating out 199 major consumer goods brands and real estate companies, Inman reported.

“Having NextHome ranked as the #1 franchise in the country for the third consecutive year is not only an honor, but a testament to the continued success of our franchise model in an industry that is constantly evolving,” said James Dwiggins, CEO of NextHome , in January Opinion.

Revive is the second notable technology partnership that NextHome has cemented. A year ago, the company hired Inside Real Estate to deploy its enterprise software, the kvCORE platform, across its operations.

NextHome’s offices, teams, and agents will be privy to the breadth of kvCORE offerings, including mobile-responsive IDX-integrated websites, organic lead generation tools, BombBomb-driven video email campaigns, and Bulk Text Marketing.

“Pre-sale renovations offer homeowners an additional $300 billion in profit opportunity,” Revive co-founder Dalip Jaggi said in the announcement.

As his clients’ homes sell for more, agents typically earn a 22 percent higher commission and win 40 percent more listings, Jaggi also said.
