RHOA: Simon Guobadia Applauds Porsha Williams’ Latest Achievement
Porsha Williams’ husband was by her side at a recent charity event for a cause close to her heart. In a Feb. 27 Instagram post, Simon Guobadia shared photos from the 2023 Pink Awards and applauded his wife’s engagement that night.
In his caption, Simon wrote: “In support of breast cancer awareness, we attended the Pink Awards 2023 [Porsha] was a featured presenter in support of her aunt [Elisabeth] Omilami, a breast cancer survivor and Samaritan Prize recipient.”
He added: “Our prayers go out to these brave women.” The real housewives of Atlanta Alum responded in the comments and gave some love with a red heart emoji.
According to their website, the Pink Awards are “an iconic event that spotlights breast cancer awareness and black excellence. During this event, world-class influencers, celebrities and wellness advocates come together to celebrate life, strength and survival.”
The evening’s awards program recognizes individuals who have “exemplarily embodied visionary ideals, excelled in entrepreneurial endeavors, transformed society and transformed the development of their respective fields.” Porsha’s talented aunt was a perfect candidate for the Samaritan award.
Elisabeth is an actress and playwright and the managing director of Hosea Helps. According to its Instagram page, the organization “helps provide free services to families and individuals in need of assistance.”
On her own feed, Elisabeth shared a photo of the evening and penned a heartfelt caption. “[Last night’s] The ceremony touched hearts, encouraged breast cancer survivors and lifted spirits,” she wrote. And Elisabeth, Porsha and Simon certainly brought a good mood to the event.
The party-goers were smartly dressed. While Simon wore a royal blue suit over a crisp black button-down, Porsha opted for an Alexander McQueen blazer dress and huge jeweled earrings. Taking to her Instagram feed, the Atlanta mom captured her entire striking ensemble — and gave credit to the Go Naked hairpiece she wore.
Meanwhile, Elisabeth appeared at the event in a light pink dress with jewel embroidery. She looked radiant as she prepared to accept her award. Photos from the evening showed Simon, Porsha and Elisabeth posing on the pink carpet. Another snap offered a glimpse of Porsha addressing the crowd and looking genuinely excited to be honoring her aunt. Check out the inspirational event below:
