Sony PlayStation 5 restock sale in India today: How to pre-order
Stock of Sony PlayStation 5 in India is back. Sony’s next-gen gaming console is available for pre-order today at 12pm in the country. It will be available through Amazon, Croma, Flipkart, Game Loot, Games The Shop, Reliance Digital, Sony Center and Vijay Sales. Sony PlayStation 5 standard version with the hard drive can be purchased at €34,990. PS5 Digital Edition without a Blu-ray Disc drive, on the other hand, costs €39,990. The console bundle offered with the game Grand Turismo 7 has a price of €54,990.
Recently, Sony increased the price of the PS5 in the UK, Europe, Japan, China, Australia, Mexico and Canada. The price surge, Sony says, is the result of high global inflation rates, including rising interest rates. For the Indian market, prices remain unchanged.
Sony PS5: Specifications
As mentioned above, Sony’s next generation gaming console – PS5 – has two editions – the Standard and the Digital Edition. The difference between Digital Edition and Standard is that the latter supports physical Blu-ray discs.
The PS5 Digital Edition comes with 16GB of GDDR6 RAM and 825GB of internal storage support. Buyers will get storage expansion support on the game console with compatible PS5 SSDs. It’s also the more affordable of the two models. It is powered by an octa-core CPU based on the Zen 2 architecture.
The gaming console offers 8K gaming support at up to 120 fps. PS5 also supports 4K TV games to offer a 120Hz refresh rate. There is also HDR TV technical support. The next generation from Sony supports Tempest 3D AudioTech, which is said to offer an immersive gaming experience. The device is also equipped with a Dual Sense controller to improve haptic feedback.
How to preorder PS5 on Amazon India
In order to pre-order PS5 through the Amazon India website, you must have an account with Amazon. However, an Amazon Prime membership is not required to get free delivery. Given the gaming console’s popularity, it’s likely that the stock will run out soon. Therefore, it is advisable to keep the checkout page ahead of time.
