Sporting clubs and individuals shortlisted for annual council awards – Armagh I
The shortlist for this year’s Armagh Banbridge and Craigavon Senior Sports Awards has been announced, with sports clubs, individual athletes and volunteers being recognized for their talent and achievements.
About 42 nominations in eight categories made it onto the shortlist, with the jury being “very impressed” by the high standard of the nominations submitted.
The shortlisted nominees will meet at the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown on Thursday 9 March with representatives from Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Sports Forum, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council and main sponsor Ulster Carpets to celebrate their achievements and hear the announcement of the winners.
The shortlisted individuals, teams and clubs competing for the top spots are:
